Cedar Pointe Homes is a Fixed-Price builder. We believe that a fixed-price build is the most effective way to deliver a luxury build with no surprises. We’ve determined that “Cost plus” is simply a good way to get out of doing all the detailed project study necessary to understand and execute on your unique project. Build times for luxury custom homes can vary from project to project, depending on dozens of variables. We work closely with our clients in pre-construction to determine a build time that is appropriate for each unique project. As a gauge, most projects around 3,000 - 5,000 sf and sitting on a build-ready lot will take from 12-14 months to complete after a building permit is granted.
Cedar Pointe Homes takes pride in and stands behind every home that we build. As such we provide a 1-Year, 2-Year, 10-Year limited home warranty with each home. 1-Year workmanship and Materials Warranty; 2-Year Systems Warranty; 10-Year Structural Warranty.
Each custom home is unique and literally hundreds of collaborating hands are involved in the project from start to finish. You’ll meet several of those collaborators throughout your project, however, you will be provided a “personal concierge” from the Cedar Pointe team to walk you through the process and ensure that your home is delivered exactly how you want it. This team member will be with you from start to finish.

Although Cedar Pointe Homes, does own and sell lots in various luxury communities throughout Southern Utah for build-to-suit jobs, we also work with individuals who own their own lots. We have the experience to take on any Custom Luxury project in Southern Utah.

Cedar Pointe Homes charges a fixed price for your custom home build based on your specific plan set, specifications, and allowances. This way of pricing offers peace of mind, budget certainty, and is ideal for clients who value predictability in pricing.
Custom homes in the St George market typically range from $350-$1,500 per square foot (without the lot). Pricing really depends on the complexity of the build job and finish level. Cedar Pointe Homes prefers to think of “negotiation” as collaboration, its all part of the custom home process. We’re very open to discuss design alternatives, value engineering options, and adjustments that can align your project with your financial goals. Rather than “cutting corners,” we focus on helping you make smart choices so that your home feels elevated, refined, and personal.
Cedar Pointe Homes provides transparent pricing. Suppliers, trades and subcontractors do charge sales tax on the cost of materials and labor used, however, this cost is already factored into the fixed price of the home and no additional “surprise” taxes will be added to the cost of your build.
Custom Home Builders typical do not provide in-house financing, but we do work closely with several trusted lenders who specialize in both construction loans and long term mortgages. During the pre-construction phase we will discuss your specific financing needs and help you to understand and choose from the many financing options that are available to you.
Not usually - and for good reason. Cedar Pointe Homes preferres to supply materials from our network of trusted vendors and subcontractors. This helps us to maintain our high standard of quality and craftsmanship, ensures proper warranty coverage, helps to control project scheduling, and allows us to handle potential compatibility issues with materials.
However, a custom home build is very customized and must be collaborative to ensure that you get exactly what you need. If there is a very specific design element that your home needs, we’re happy to review it on a case by case basis. Our goal is to maintain a good balance between a high level of customization and a luxury build experience for everyone.
